Dbacks looking to bury the Cubs

The Cubs have their backs against it tonight as they face the Diamondbacks at Wrigley Field. The baby bears hardly put up a fight in the first two games. Perhaps some home cooking is just the answer.

11 year veteran Livan Hernandez will be throwing for Arizona. Livan isn't an overpowering pitcher. He averaged only 4 strikouts per 9 innings pitched this season. He gave up 34 homeruns, second only to Houston's Woody Williams. He gave up more hits than any pitcher in baseball.

Rich Hill is taking the mound for the Cubs. Hill is one of the best #3 pitchers in baseball. He is 11-8 with a 3.92 ERA. He averaged 8.5 strikeouts per 9 innings pitched. If he has his curveball working he is nearly unhittable.
