Hoping for winds of change

The Indians will be trying to put their regular season woes against the Yankees behind them tonight as they take the field in Cleveland. Cleveland is 0-6 against the Yanks as they got pummeled 49 to 17 in the season series.

The Central division has reigned supreme in the AL the last two years. The Indians will have their work cut out for them if they plan to build a streak out of that. The Indians hold the advantage pitching wise with C.C. Sabathia (19-7 3.21 ERA) facing off against Chien-Ming Wang (19-7 3.70 ERA).

The Yankees have enough offense to upset any pitching staff in the league. Their 968 runs scored are 81 runs above the next best AL offense. They outscored Cleveland by more than 150 runs this season. Nobody in the AL has figured out how to pitch Alex Rodriguez.

The only chance Cleveland stands is to hope the wind is blowing in fiercely the entire series.
